What You’ll Need

  • 3 medium-sized beets, peeled and steamed
  • 4 large oranges, peeled and segmented
  • 2 medium-sized bananas, peeled
  • 1 cup of Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 2 cup of almond milk
  • 2 cups of ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
ALLERGENS: milk, almonds, honey

Method

Step One

Peel and steam the 3 medium-sized beets and set them aside to cool. Once cooled, chop into smaller portions to make it easier to blend.

Step Two

Next, peel and segment the 4 large oranges. Do the same for the 2 medium-sized bananas and set aside.

Step Three

In a large blender, combine the cooled and chopped beets, the segmented oranges, and the peeled bananas.

Step Four

Add to the blender 1 cup of Greek yogurt and 1 tablespoon of honey. Pour in 2 cups of almond milk and finally add in 2 cups of ice cubes.

Step Five

Before starting to blend, add in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to give your smoothie a pleasant aroma and sweeter taste.

Step Six

Start blending at medium speed and gradually increase to high until all components are well mixed and the consistency is smooth. If the smoothie is too thin you can add more ice cubes or if it’s too thick add a bit more almond milk until the desired consistency is achieved.

Step Seven
