Cardamom and Rose Iced Coffee

A Twist on the Ordinary

Why settle for a standard iced coffee when you can enjoy our Cardamom and Rose Iced Coffee? One cannot help but look forward to the delicate crunch of ice, the robust brew of coffee, the creamy wholesomeness of milk, sweet sugar, the complex essence of cardamom, and the floral hint of rose. Each component, even the optional whipped cream and rose petals, contributes to a multi-layered sensory experience, unlike any other coffee.

Thus, this particular recipe always reminds me of huckleberry pies. Each sip, akin to each bite of the pie, reveals a new depth of flavor. It’s a beverage that strikes a chord with those looking to try something beyond the confines of your everyday drinks. If you’re having people over, try pairing it with our bison burgers or venison steaks for a meal full of robust flavors.

The Health Factor

Aside from delighting your tastebuds, there are also numerous health benefits to enjoy with our Cardamom and Rose Iced Coffee. This beverage is a great way to cool down during warm days, and the iced coffee component could give that much-needed caffeine boost while also providing antioxidants. Cardamom, a spice often used in traditional medicine, is believed to have anti-inflammatory effects and may help lower blood pressure thanks to its high concentration of various antioxidants. Furthermore, rose water is more than just an aromatic ingredient – it is also known for its potential digestive benefits when consumed.

In essence, our Cardamom and Rose Iced Coffee is a delightful escape from the usual, taking you on a journey of flavors inspired by diverse culinary traditions, and providing a refreshing health boost along the way.

What You’ll Need

  • 6 cups of strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 3 cups of ice cubes
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 6 teaspoons of ground cardamom
  • 3 teaspoons of rose water
  • 1/2 cup of whipped cream (optional)
  • 6 rose petals (optional)
ALLERGENS: milk

Method

Step One

First, brew the coffee. You will need 6 cups of strong coffee for this recipe. Allow the coffee to cool.

Step Two

While your coffee is cooling, take a small saucepan, combine the sugar and 1/2 cup of water over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the sugar syrup cool.

Step Three

Add the ground cardamom and rose water to the sugar syrup and mix well. This will create a fragrant syrup for your iced coffee.

Step Four

Fill a tall glass half full of ice cubes. Pour the cooled coffee over the ice, filling the glass 3/4 full. Then, pour 2 to 3 tablespoons of the cardamom-rose syrup into the glass. Pour in the whole milk till the glass is almost full leaving room for whipped cream if desired.

Step Five

Stir everything together until well mixed. Taste your iced coffee and adjust the sweetness or flavors with more syrup if needed.

Step Six

If desired, top your iced coffee with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with a rose petal for a fancier presentation. Repeat the process for the remaining glasses. Enjoy your Cardamom and Rose Iced Coffee!
