What You’ll Need

  • 12 large Kaffir lime leaves
  • 1 bunch of fresh cilantro (approximately 2 cups chopped)
  • 2 fresh green jalapeno peppers
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 ripe tomato, diced
  • 1 medium sized red onion, diced
  • Juice of 3 limes
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil

Method

Step One

Remove the stems and central veins from the Kaffir lime leaves and then finely chop them. Also finely chop up the fresh cilantro.

Step Two

Cut the green jalapeno peppers in half. Remove the seeds. Then finely chop the jalapeno peppers.

Step Three

Peel and mince the garlic cloves.

Step Four

Dice the ripe tomato and red onion into small pieces.

Step Five

In a large bowl, mix together the chopped Kaffir lime leaves, cilantro, jalapeno peppers, garlic, diced tomato, and red onion.

Step Six
