What You’ll Need

  • 6 cups of water
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh hyssop leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 3 sliced lemons
  • 1 cup of mixed fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

Method

Step One

Firstly, pour the 6 cups of water into a large pot and bring it to a boil.

Step Two

While waiting for the water to boil, finely chop the 1 tablespoon of fresh hyssop leaves and the 1 tablespoon of fresh mint leaves.

Step Three

Once the water is boiling, add the chopped hyssop and mint leaves into the pot. Lower the heat, cover the pot, and let it simmer for around 15 minutes.

Step Four

After 15 minutes, remove the pot from the heat. Add in the 2 tablespoons of honey and stir until it fully dissolves.

Step Five

Next, slice your 3 lemons. You can also prepare your 1 cup of mixed fresh fruits by washing them thoroughly and slicing them, if needed.

Step Six

Add the sliced lemons and the mixed fresh fruits into the pot of tea. Stir gently to combine them fully.

Step Seven

Finally, let the Mint Hyssop Tea cool slightly before serving it warm. You can also refrigerate it for a couple of hours and serve it as a refreshing iced tea.
