  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 2 oranges (juice and zest)
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 4 green cardamom pods
  • 2 cassia bark pieces
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 cup of brandy
  • Garnish: 6 cinnamon sticks
ALLERGENS: Sulfites (in red wine and potentially in apple cider), Alcohol

Method

Step One

Pour the whole bottle of red wine into a large pot on the stove and start heating it on medium heat.

Step Two

Add 2 cups of apple cider into the pot with the red wine. Stir well.

Step Three

Add 1/4 cup of honey into the mixture in the pot. Stir well until the honey is fully dissolved.
