What You’ll Need

  • 8 Pandan leaves
  • 6 Kaffir lime leaves
  • 8 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup of raw honey
  • 6 slices of fresh lime (for garnish)
ALLERGENS: Pandan, lime, honey

Method

Step One

First, take the 8 pandan leaves and 6 kaffir lime leaves. Rinse them thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities.

Step Two

Secondly, take a large pot and fill it with 8 cups of water. Put the pot on high heat and bring the water to a boil.

Step Three

Add the pandan and kaffir lime leaves to the boiling water. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the leaves simmer for about 15-20 minutes. This will allow the flavors to infuse the water.

Step Four

After simmering, turn off the heat and let the tea cool down. Once cooled, strain the tea to remove the leaves. The infused water should now have a greenish color and a fragrant aroma.

Step Five

The fifth step is to sweeten the tea. Stir in 1/2 cup of raw honey to the pot. Make sure to stir well until the honey is fully dissolved.

Step Six

Finally, serve the tea hot or chilled as per your liking. Pour the tea into individual cups or glasses, and garnish each serving with a slice of fresh lime. Your pandan and lime leaf tea is now ready to enjoy!
