What You’ll Need

Ingredients for Roasted Potatoes:

  • 3 pounds of potatoes
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of rosemary (fresh or dried)
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme (fresh or dried)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
ALLERGENS: None

Method

Step One:

Begin by preheating your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). While the oven is preheating, wash the potatoes thoroughly and then cut them into cubes or wedges.

Step Two:

Place the cut potatoes in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over the potatoes, making sure all pieces are well coated.

Step Three:

Add the rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix everything together so that the spices and seasonings evenly coat all of the potatoes.

Step Four:

Once the oven is preheated, spread the potatoes out on a large baking sheet. Make sure they are in a single layer with space in between each piece. This will help them roast evenly and become crispy.

Step Five:

Roast the potatoes in the oven for about 45 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Halfway through the cooking time, use a spatula to flip the potatoes so they cook evenly on all sides.

Step Six:

Once the potatoes are done roasting, remove them from the oven. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious homemade roasted potatoes!
