What You’ll Need

  • 1 pound of pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 12 ounces of Chinese noodles
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 medium carrots, julienned
  • 1/4 cup of light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth
  • Salt to taste
ALLERGENS: pork, wheat, soy, garlic

Method

Step One

Start by preparing all your ingredients. Thinly slice the pork tenderloin, mince the garlic, chop the green onions, juliennes the carrots, and slice the red and green bell peppers.

Step Two

Next, cook the Chinese noodles in a large pot of boiling water according to instructions on the package, until they are al dente. Once done, drain the noodles in a colander and set them aside.

Step Three

Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan or wok on medium-high heat. Once hot, add the sliced pork tenderloin to the pan and cook until it’s browned and cooked through.

Step Four

After the pork is cooked, add the minced garlic, the sliced bell peppers, and the julienned carrots to the pan. Cook everything together for another 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently.

Step Five

In a small bowl, mix together the light soy sauce, rice vinegar, Sriracha sauce, sugar, cornstarch and chicken broth to make the stir-fry sauce. Once mixed, add this to the frying pan with the rest of the ingredients.

Step Six

Stir everything together over the heat so that the sauce coats the pork and vegetables evenly. Cook for another 2 minutes, taste, and add salt if necessary.

Step Seven

Finally, add the cooked noodles and chopped green onions to the pan, stirring everything together until the noodles are thoroughly coated with the sauce and heated through.

Step Eight

Serve your Spicy and Sour Pork Stir-Fried Noodles hot, and enjoy.
