What You’ll Need

  • 6 slices of whole grain bread
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons of Vegemite
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: Crushed red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, fresh herbs

Method

Step One

Start by preheating your grill. When it reaches its desired temperature, toast the 6 slices of whole grain bread until they are golden brown and crispy.
