It’s a stunning blend of succulent manga, creamy coconut milk, and cool Greek yogurt united by a sweet splash of honey and an invigorating hint of fresh lime. This recipe not only indulges my Pacific Northwest roots, but also echoes my Japanese heritage with its subtle nod towards a traditional Japanese smoothie called Mango Lassi.

What You’ll Need

  • 3 large ripe mangos, peeled and pitted
  • 1 1/2 cups of coconut milk
  • 1 1/2 cups of plain Greek yogurt
  • 6 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 1/2 cups of ice cubes
  • 3 tablespoons of fresh lime juice

Method

Step One

First, prepare your mangos by peeling them and removing the pit. This leaves you with the delicious, ripe mango fruit you need for this recipe.

Step Two

Add the peeled mangos to your blender. Next, pour in the coconut milk. The combination of these two ingredients will create a tropical taste sensation.

Step Three

Now, it’s time to add the Greek yogurt into the blender. This ingredient adds a yummy, creamy texture to your smoothie.

Step Four

Add in the honey to sweeten things up a bit. You can adjust the amount of honey to your liking but remember that the mangos already add a natural sweetness to the smoothie.
