What You’ll Need

  • 6 Medium Macopa Fruits (Wax Apples)
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Lime Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tablespoon Nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt (For serving)
  • Mint Leaves (For garnishing)

Method

Step One

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). As it’s heating, carefully wash the Macopa fruits to remove any dirt or residue. Cut the fruits in half and remove the seeds.

Step Two

In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix these ingredients together until they are well incorporated.

Step Three

Brush the cut sides of the Macopa fruits with lime juice then sprinkle the sugar mix evenly over each half. Make sure each fruit is well coated for maximum flavor.
