Clementine, Ginger and Bay Gin cocktail

A Drink Inspired by Diversity

Just as California embraces all in its melting pot of culture, diversity is embedded in this Clementine, Ginger and Bay Gin cocktail, that is symbolic of the various flavor profiles we encounter in everyday life. It brings together the zesty sweetness of clementines, the biting edge of fresh ginger, and the subtle depth of bay leaves. A splash of gin ties these contrasting flavors together, resulting in a harmonious blend to swirl inside your cocktail glass. A balance that mirrors the Californian ethos; eclectic, vibrant, yet cohesive – a true reflection of home.

Good Health in a Glass

In addition to its soulful comfort, this cocktail is layered with health benefits. Clementines, a delicious citrus variety bursting with Vitamin C strengthens our immune system and improves skin health. Ginger’s natural medicinal properties aid digestion and fights colds and flus, while bay leaves have been known to soothe various body discomforts. The added bonus of a responsible quantity of gin provides stress-relieving relaxation. Add to this medley the simple pleasure of a drink well enjoyed, and you’ll experience a sense of wellbeing that’s uniquely Californian.

Reminiscent to the classic gin and tonic but with a twist, you might pair this cocktail with light, fresh dishes that echo its core identity. Picture a plate of avocado toasts, topped with heirloom tomatoes and a sprinkle of goat cheese, or perhaps a crisp citrus salad on warm summer days. Alternatively, this recipe might be the perfect zingy counterpart to a comforting, creamy pasta in the cooler winter months. The possibilities are, indeed, tantalizing.
