The Honeyberry Yogurt Parfait looks just as delightful as it tastes! I adore the vibrant hue of the honeyberries, their sweet and tart essence pairs incredibly well with the creaminess of Greek Yogurt. It’s a key proponent in balancing the flavors, making every mouthful a symphony of sweet, slightly tart, and creamy notes. Coincidentally, honeyberries -similar to blueberries- are a powerhouse of antioxidants, making this dish not only heavenly but also healthy.

The sweetness of the honey perfectly complements the slight bitterness of the Greek Yogurt while vanilla extract adds a hint of aromatic complexity. This blend of sweet and tangy flavors is very similar to the classic mango pudding dessert I’ve grown up loving. And if you want to make this dessert even more nutritious, you can add chia seeds, which are known for their high fiber and omega-3 content.

What You’ll Need

  • 2 cups Fresh Honeyberries
  • 3 cups Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 cups Granola
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3 tablespoons Chia Seeds
  • 6 tablespoons Almond Slices
ALLERGENS: Milk, Honey, Nuts, Gluten

Method

Step One

Start by washing the honeyberries thoroughly. Ensure that they are clean and void of any dirt or debris. Set them aside to dry.

Step Two

In a large bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and the honey. Stir them well until they are completely mixed together.

Step Three

Add the vanilla extract to the yogurt and honey mixture. Stir until the extract is completely blended in.

Step Four

Layer the bottom of your serving glasses or bowls with a layer of the granola. Ensure that it completely covers the base.

Step Five

Add a layer of the yogurt mixture on top of the granola. Aim for about an inch in thickness but you can always adjust this to suit your own tastes.

Step Six

Sprinkle a layer of chia seeds onto the yogurt. Once the chia seeds are in place, add a layer of the fresh honeyberries.

Step Seven

Continue these layers until you reach the top of your serving glasses. End with a layer of granola, honeyberries, and a sprinkle of chia seeds and almond slices for a beautiful and crunchy finish.

Step Eight

Chill your Honeyberry Yogurt Parfait in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
