What You’ll Need
- 2 cups Lanzones fruit, peeled and seedless
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 6 cocktail drinks of your choice
Method
Step One
First, you need to prepare the fruit. Take your 2 cups of Lanzones fruit, peel them and ensure they are seedless. Set this aside for later use.
Step Two
Take a medium saucepan and combine the 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of water. Place this on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Step Three
Add the prepared Lanzones to the saucepan with the sugar-water mixture. Bring this to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer. Continue stirring occasionally, allowing the fruit to release its flavor into the syrup for about 30 minutes.
