What You’ll Need

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh tayberries
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)

Method

Step One

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Grease a muffin tin or line them with muffin liners.

Step Two

In a large bowl, combine the 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Mix these ingredients thoroughly until they are well combined.
