What You’ll Need
- 6 cups of watermelon, diced
- 1 cup of strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup of blueberries
- 1 cup of pineapple, chopped
- 2 kiwis, diced
- 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves, chopped
- 1/3 cup of fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon of honey
Method
Step One
Start by preparing all your fruit. Dice six cups of watermelon, slice one cup of strawberries, rinse one cup of blueberries, chop one cup of pineapple, and dice two kiwis. Make sure to remove any seeds or cores as needed.
Step Two
Next, you’ll want to chop up your fresh mint leaves. You’ll need about 1/2 cup once they’re chopped. Be sure to remove any stems before chopping the leaves.
Step Three
In a small bowl, combine 1/3 cup of fresh lime juice and one tablespoon of honey. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved in the lime juice.
Step Four
Now it’s time to assemble your fruit cups. Divide the prepared fruit among two large cups or bowls. Make sure each serving has a roughly equal amount of each type of fruit.
Step Five
Drizzle the lime and honey mixture over the fruit in each cup. Try to distribute it as evenly as possible so that all the fruit gets a bit of the zesty sweetness.
Step Six
Sprinkle the chopped mint over the top of each fruit cup. The mint adds a refreshing contrast to the sweet fruit and tangy lime juice.
Step Seven
Finally, give everything a good stir to make sure every piece of fruit is coated in the lime juice and honey mixture. Your watermelon fruit cups are now ready to be enjoyed!
